Home of grace Elderly Home (plaisance)
Home of Grace in Plaisance is a beautiful ministry where we have a total of 16 Elderly people that we love and serve each day. Since the earthquake in August 2021, we went from 3 to 16. We are so thankful that we have a home where they feel safe, wanted and loved. We have 15 staff that strive everyday to meet each of the needs of our elderly individually.
The most vulnerable in any society are the young, the sick, and the elderly. Haiti is no exception. There are many elderly and disabled citizens who require love and compassion, as well as physical assistance, yet there are few institutions or organizations that meet these needs.
Many of them are at a stage of life where they can do little to nothing for themselves. We provide them a safe and loving environment where they can live out the last days of their lives with dignity and respect.
