Originally from WA state, Adriane participated in her first mission trip when she was only 13 years old and immediately knew she was called to full time ministry. After traveling on more than 10 short terms trips, facilitating countless others and spending 2 years living as a missionary in India, she thought her days of long term overseas ministry were behind her and she put down roots in TN.
After 7 years in TN and several years on staff at her church, Adriane led a team of individuals on a trip to Mission of Grace in June of 2015. Something about the ministry captured her heart and before she left, she knew she would be returning. Less than 3 months later, Adriane was back in Haiti as an intern to serve for four months. She served in our pharmacy and at our orphanage as well as helping with teams.
Within a few weeks of arriving in Carries, Adriane knew that she would be returning in a long term capacity. After returning home for a few months to fundraise and tie up loose ends, Adriane returned to Mission of Grace in May of 2016, less than one year from her first visit. She is here for an indefinite period of time and along with overseeing activities for our children in the orphanage, she serves as an assistant to Miss Kim and helps to lead and coordinate with our short term teams on the ground.
Adriane is passionate for God’s people and lives to see people come alive as they encounter new cultures and experience God’s heart for all people of all nations. She may not know what the future holds or how long she will be in Haiti, but she is determined to live fully in each moment and serve the people of Carries.
