The lack of first aid and hospital care were once very apparent in Carries. By building a properly resourced clinic, including two doctors, four trained nurses and a pharmacy, we have provided the community with a clean and safe place to receive much needed medical care and education. In partnership with the Foundation for Hope and Health in Haiti, our clinic is open 5 days a week and offers free healthcare, treatment, and medication to all who come. In addition to treatment, we focus on educating the community in areas such as cleanliness, sanitation, and other preventative measures that can be taken in order to avoid future visits. This two-fold approach has helped in making great improvements to the overall health and well being of our entire community.
